Senior Airman Phillip Meeks, an Air National Guard emergency manager, listens during a mission brief before taking part in a search for radioactive material during a Global Dragon training event at the Guardian Center of Georgia on March 15, 2015. During this day's training, airmen searched for material following a simulated aircraft crash in a deployed location. Students wore Mission Oriented Protective Posture (MOPP) 4 gear and used Geiger counters to search through an empty field for the lost material. Global Dragon provides a refresher course for Airmen, allowing them to put their skills to use to identify live chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear agents and materials. Air National Guard emergency management technicians from more than 20 individual units participated in Global Dragon. Meeks is a member of the 130th Airlift Wing in West Virgina.
