Marines from units around the III Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, and Okinawa, Japan, went to Camp Hansen, Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, for an operator/maintenance course, taught by training specialists from the Oshkosh Corporation, to familiarize the Marines with the new Logistics Vehicle System Replacement MK18 cargo vehicle so they can go back to their home units to pass on what they have learned to the rest of their shop to prepare for the future arrival of the vehicles. The course ran from June 1, and ended today.
