Airman 1st Class Rachel Hartless, 88th Medical Squadron medical materiel technician, bites into the gold medal she won during the Air Force Wounded Warrior (AFW2) Trials 2015 in Las Vegas, March 1, 2015. The AFW2 Trials are an adaptive sports event designed to promote the mental and physical well-being of seriously ill and injured military members and veterans. More than 105 wounded, ill or injured service men and women from around the country will compete for a spot on the 2015 AFW2 Team which will represent the Air Force at adaptive sports competitions throughout the year.
