CHICAGO, (February 25, 2015) – 2014 Chief of Naval Personnel (CNP)/MPT&E (MPT&E) Sailor of the Year (SOY) finalists visit the German submarine U-505 exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry here, Feb. 25. The visit to the museum was part of a day trip to Chicago attractions for the 2014 Chief of Naval Personnel/MPT&E Sailor of the Year (SOY) week. Three finalists (from left) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Sharon N. Barker (left), from Recruit Training Command (RTC), Intelligence Specialist 1st Class Johnetta Heckard (center), from Commander, Navy Personnel Command (NPC), and Navy Counselor 1st Class Ryan A. Blackmer (right), from Navy Recruiting District Michigan in Detroit, were recognized and feted during the week. Chief of Naval Personnel (CNP), Vice Adm. William F.
