NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (Feb. 6, 2015) Equipment Operator 1st Class Thomas Irvin assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11 operates a road grader to improve the helicopter landing zone access road. The helicopter landing zone project, once finished will assist in the bilateral training with the Spanish military, explosive ordnance disposal and not interfere with the main airstrip of Naval Station Rota.
