CHICAGO, (February 25, 2015) – Sailors from Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education (MPT&E) commands attempt their best Michael Jordan dunking pose in the snow outside the United Center, home of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Chicago Bulls here, Feb. 25. Chief of Naval Personnel (CNP) Fleet Master Chief April Beldo (center) and MPT&E invited to watch the Bulls take on the Charlotte Hornets in NBA action by the Bulls organization to congratulate the 2014 Chief of Naval Personnel/Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education (MPT&E) Sailor of the Year (SOY) finalists. The finalists were Navy Counselor 1st Class Ryan A. Blackmer (fifth from left), from Navy Recruiting District Michigan in Detroit, and the Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) SOY; Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Sharon N. Barker (eighth from left), from Recruit Training Command (RTC), Great Lakes, Ill., and the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) SOY; and eventual winner, Intelligence Specialist 1st Class Johnetta Heckard (seventh from left) from Commander, Navy Personnel Command (NPC).
