Cadet 2nd Class Dylan Smith, 98th Flying Training Squadron Wings of Blue parachutist, a Valley Center, Calif., native, gathers his equipment after preforming in an aerial demonstration for the opening ceremonies of the Air Force Wounded Warrior (AFW2) 2015 Trials on Nellis Air Force Base, Feb. 27. The AFW2 Trials are an adaptive sports event designed to promote the mental and physical well-being of seriously ill and injured military members and veterans. More than 105 wounded, ill or injured service men and women from around the country will compete for a spot on the 2015 U.S. Air Force Wounded Warrior Team which will represent the Air Force at the 2015 Warrior Games held in Colorado Springs, Colo., in the fall.
