Airman First Class Javier Pedroza carries a mattress at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan, June 10. Mattresses from the base are being donated to Counterpart International Incorporated, a community and humanitarian assistance program, which will then be given to 6 hospitals in nearby capitol of Bishkek. Over 300 mattresses were donated and will help six hospitals in nearby capitol of Bishkek. Airman Pedroza is a fitness center quality assurance apprentice, assigned to the 376th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron. He is deployed from the 19th Airlift Wing at Little Rock AFB, Ark., and his hometown is Corpus Christi, Texas.
