Senior Airman Travis, surveillance radar technician, performs a preflight inspection of the surveillance radar system on an E-3 Sentry airborne warning and control system aircraft at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia Feb. 24, 2015. Since the beginning of Operation Inherent Resolve Sentry has controlled 21,625 coalition aircraft and 1,122 kinetic effects, which can be anything from planned airstrikes to requests for close air support.
