U.S. Navy sailor Petty Officer 2rd Class Kazmin Stan raises the morning colors aboard the USS Essex (LHD-2) during Amphibious Squadron/Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration Training (PMINT) aboard Naval Base San Diego Feb. 23, 2015. Stan is a hospital corpsman assigned to the Essex.
