David L. Odom (left) and Cpl. Christopher J. Benavidez flys with Odom to allow him to communicate with the supporting units during the battle. ITX 2-15 is designed to integrate combined arms and improve warfighting capabilities. Benavidez, a Livermore, California, native, is a radio operator currently assigned to Headquarters Company, 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
