Lance Cpl. Joseph A. Daniel exits the mine resistant ambush protected vehicle egress simulator Jan. 22 at Marine Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, during Integrated Training Exercise 2-15. The MRAP egress simulator acts as an overturning vehicle and trains the Marines on how to safely exit the vehicle and simultaneously provide 360 degree security. ITX 2-15 is designed to integrate combined arms and improve warfighting capabilities. Daniel, a radio operator and Danielsville, Georgia, native, is assigned to Headquarters Company, 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
