PEARL HARBOR (Feb. 14, 2015) – Lt. Jennifer Minkler, from San Diego, mans the rails of amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) as the ship passes the USS Arizona memorial at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. San Diego, part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 11th MEU, is returning to home port San Diego following its maiden deployment to the Western Pacific and the U.S. Central Command areas of operation.
