Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan connect a cargo pendant to an MH-60S Knighthawk helicopter assigned to the "Blackjacks" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21, securing a load of cargo to the helicopter during a replenishment at sea. RAS are performed to resupply ships at sea, instead of heading to shore for supplies and fuel. Ronald Reagan is underway on a routine deployment to the Western Pacific.
