An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 13 "Stingers", flies off the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan during flight operations. The hornet is used primarily as an escort for fleet air defense, interdiction as well as close-and deep air support. Ronald Reagan is underway on a routine deployment to the Western Pacific.
