    I Marine Expeditionary Force

    U.S. Marine Cpl. Noe Duenas, a welder with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, from Prunedale, Calif., preps a pass to LCpl. Dakota Hazel, a combat engineer with MWSS-171, from Saint Clair, Mich., during a soccer match with members of the local community in Khok Samrong district, Lop Buri province, Thailand during Exercise Cobra Gold 2015, Feb. 9. The Marines are assigned to the area to build a multi-purpose, masonry structure for the local school as part of the Engineer Engineer Civil / Humanitarian Assistance Program (ENCAP) portion of the exercise. CG15 is a combined forces exercise, taking place across Thailand to advance regional security and ensure effective responses to crises in the area. It includes a specific focus on human civic action, community engagement and medical activities to support the needs and humanitarian interest of civilian population around the region.
