Lance Cpl. Marcus Woolbright, from Coopertown, Tennessee, runs up a hill towards a safe position during a live fire unknown distance rage Feb. 7 on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The Marines “buddy rushed” towards their objective, the end of the range, while hiding in overgrown grass and behind bunkers. Buddy rushing is when two or more Marines rush towards their objective while providing cover fire for each other. Woolbright is a machine gunner with Company W, Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment currently assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
