Marines assigned to the 3rd Marine Division meet Sgt. Maj. Bryan B. Battaglia during lunch Feb. 9 at the Camp Schwab Chow Hall. Battaglia, along with the Marines, spent their lunch talking about their experiences in the Corps. Battaglia’s visit to Okinawa consisted of touring bases for various briefs and to meet with junior Marines, as people are the most valued assets across the Marine Corps. Battaglia, from New Orleans, Louisiana, is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and is the senior non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Armed Forces.
