Airman George Ennin, aviation boatswain's mate (equipment), readies his push pole on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan during flight operations. The arresting gear support team uses a variety of tools, including the push pole, which is used to direct arresting cables as they are safely retracted back into position after aircraft recovery. Ronald Reagan is underway on a routine deployment to the Western Pacific.
