ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 2, 2015) -- Interior Communications Electrician 3rd Class Brandon Bixler, from Virginia Beach, Va., opens the casing for a communications network input/output unit while performing routine maintenance aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Laboon (DDG 58). Laboon is underway for Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming scheduled deployment.
