Staff Sgt. Rolando Demen, an Airman with the Darmstadt, Germany-based 402nd Intelligence Squadron, competes in the “Battle of the DJs” finale Feb. 1 at the Kazabra Club. The event, which was sponsored by U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Morale, Welfare and Recreation, pitted the winners of three earlier knock-out rounds that took place at the Armstrong’s Club in January. For the final “battle,” each DJ had 15 minutes to show off their skills in front of a three-judge MWR panel. After the scores were tallied, Demen took home second-place honors.
