Sixteen civilian Airmen of the 127th Civil Engineer Squadron's Roads and Grounds shop worked around the clock since the Feb. 1 and 2 snowstorm that dumped more than a foot of snow and produced drifts more than four feet high in areas across the metro-Detroit area. Their efforts cleared base roads, parking lots, runways and airfield ramps, allowing for mission continuation at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich. Selfridge ANG Base has not closed for snow since the blizzards of early 1999. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Terry L. Atwell)
