Capt. Daniel C. Grieco, commanding officer of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), and crew speak with Capt. Barry “Butch” Wilmore, astronaut aboard the International Space Station during a video teleconference aboard TR. Wilmore fielded questions from the TR crew during the event. TR is underway participating in composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which tests the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group's ability to effectively react to real-world scenarios and perform as an integrated unit.
