Marines with Marine Air Support Squadron 1 were awarded an Outstanding Volunteer Service Award from the Single Marine Program at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., for their volunteer efforts in support of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program Jan. 23, 2015. MASS-1 organized a 25-mile Toys for Tots hike and collected 813 toys for donation to more than 300 local families.
