U.S. Marine Corps UH-1Y Super Hueys from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced) [VMM-163 (REIN)], 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), take off from a landing zone as part of the final exercise of Red Reef 15 in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia, Dec. 16. Red Reef is a bilateral amphibious exercise that focuses on expanding levels of cooperation, enhancing mutual maritime capabilities, as well as promoting long-term regional stability and interoperability between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces.
