Brig. Gen. Frederick Rudesheim (right), deputy commanding general for support, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, thanks Lt. Col. John Richardson IV, commander, 5th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, MND-B following a visit to Joint Security station Ameriya in the Mansour district of northwest Baghdad May 20. Rudesheim accompanied Lt. Gen. John Allen, deputy commander, U.S. Central Command to the JSS to discuss the closure of the facility and discuss plans for removing Soldiers from Iraqi cities by the June 30 deadline.
