    Marines fire artillery Jan. 12 during exercise Lava Viper 15.1-2 at Pohakuloa Training Area in Hawaii. The M777A2 lightweight 155 mm howitzer is a long-range weapon capable of firing rounds used for fire support, illumination at night and smoke screens.
