U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct a left pivot during a modified live-fire table III range as part of combat marksmanship training on the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), Jan. 7. The 11th MEU is embarked with the San Diego as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
