Lance Cpl. Tyler D. Henderson sprints during a machine gun drill Jan. 7 at Range 9 in the Central Training Area. Machine gun drills are an exercise where Marines sprint in teams of three towards a notional enemy, set up the gun on a tripod and simulate engaging the target. The Marines better their proficiency in setting up the weapon system and gain confidence through the use of these drills. Henderson, from Columbus, Indiana, is a field radio operator with Truck Company, Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
