Littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3), along with its 11-meter rigid hull inflatable boat trailing behind, conduct visual and subsurface searches near the location where AirAsia Flight QZ8501’s tail was discovered. Fort Worth is currently operating in the vicinity of the tail section and is supporting Indonesian-led efforts to locate the downed aircraft.
