Master Sgt. Jerome Nichols, operations non-commissioned officer-in-charge, Fort Carson Garrison Command, Colo., describes the layout of FCCO and Colorado Springs, to a 4th Infantry Division Soldier attending the Mountain Post Summit, May 5, hosted at Club Hood. Nichols, who hails from Cleveland, Miss., helped organize more than 25 Colorado Springs and surrounding community representatives and agencies, and arranged for their visit with Soldiers, May 4-8, preparing transitioning Soldiers and their family members to make an easier move from "The Great Place" to the "Mountain Post." Nichols explained, "The whole purpose of the event was to bring Fort Carson to Fort Hood for the Soldiers."
