Spc. Jonathan Dodson, a track-vehicle mechanic from Jasper, Ala., signs up with the Colorado Springs New Home Connection, May 8, to receive information from local realtors about potentially buying a home in the communities surrounding Fort Carson, Colo., during the Mountain Post Welcome at Club Hood. Dodson, assigned to Battery G, 4th Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, brought his wife, Heather, and their two children; Hannah, 2; Kamdan, 1, to the information fair showcasing dozens of Fort Carson and U.S. Army organizations and local community representatives providing Soldiers and their family members information ranging from Colorado Springs school districts to Fort Carson Army Community Services and military housing.
