Ja’Mycal Hasty, running back from Longview High School, Longview, Texas, takes a photo with his father and Marines representing the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, Dec. 30. The Semper Fidelis Bowl’s main objective is to pair Marines with well-rounded students, like Hasty, in order to share Marine Corps leadership lessons that will enable their future success. “I want to use this experience to be a better football player and a better person overall,” said Hasty, who has plans to play football for Baylor University.
