    Immediately after saying the Oath of Commissioning, 2nd Lt. Kyle Longell receives his first salute from his older brother, Sgt. Chad Longell of the Military Intelligence Readiness Command’s 323rd Military Intelligence Battalion, Fort Meade, Md. It is traditional for new officers to receive their first salute from a noncommissioned officer who mentored them through commissioning process.
