Lance Cpl. Isabel L. Wei, a native of San Jose, California, sings the popular song, “Let It Go,” from the movie Frozen alongside military vocalists from Japan and Australia Nov. 15 at the Nippon Budokan Arena during the 2014 Japan Self-Defense Force Marching Band Festival. The song was a joint piece performed by military musicians with the III Marine Expeditionary Force, U.S. Army Japan Band, JSDF, Australian Army Band and the Philippine Marine Drum and Bugle Corps. The festival celebrated the JSDF’s 60th anniversary and this year marked the 50th year of the festival itself. Wei is an aircraft electrical, instrument, and systems control technician with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III MEF.
