Coast Guard crew rescues sea turtles, dolphin off Central America [Image 2 of 2]
Petty Officer 3rd Class Rachel Gallagher, a boatswain's mate, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyle Smith, a gunner's mate, rescue a dolphin caught in more than 100-feet of fishing line off Central America Nov. 21, 2014. While on routine patrol in the East Pacific Ocean, the crew of Coast Guard Cutter Mellon found several turtles and this dolphin entangled in debris and launched a small crew to rescue the animals.
