U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force personnel aboard amphibious command ship USS Mount Whitney look on as Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Laramie conducts an underway replenishment with Mount Whitney. The service members are deployed aboard the ship for training during a Joint Forces Maritime Component Command exercise involving a full range of military branches. Mount Whitney, home ported in Gaeta, Italy is the flagship for Commander, U.S. Sixth Fleet and is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment.
