“WEBELO” Scouts celebrate their den’s triumph in the 2014 “Cub-Annapolis” with Maj. Michael J. Swienton of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command, the Pack 69 “cubmaster,” or senior adult leader, Dec. 7 at Vogelweh Elementary School. Pack 69 Scouts compete as dens, which transform into “pit crews” for the annual winter race. Racers bearing cardboard “cars” stride across a “track” delineated by tape and cones, pausing between laps for pit crew “services” including snacks, drinks and grooming.
