A cadet with the Mooresville, N.C., Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps engages in a simulated combat scenario using an M240G medium machine gun within the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer, 2nd Marine Logistics Group aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Dec. 5, 2014. The simulator focused on decision making as a convoy of enemies approached a hill where the cadets’ machine guns were positioned. The cadets practiced simulated firing drills on moving targets in order to maintain a defensive firing line.
