Hennis is a weapons safety manager for the 376th Air Expeditionary Wing Safety Office at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan, which is co-located at the airport. He is deployed from the 98th Range Wing, Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., and is a native of Cadiz, Ohio.
