Residents of Kin Town meet Santa Claus at a tree lighting ceremony Dec. 1 in Kin Town Square. The tree lighting ceremony is an annual event held between Camp Hansen and Kin Town to bring the residents and service members closer together to celebrate the holidays. The event also included a karaoke contest and performances from the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band, a Japanese reggae artist, and a popular local Japanese disc jockey.
