Sgt. Jennifer Suarez was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2006 and temporarily medically retired in 2007. After experiencing a number of personal setbacks, she started down the path to recovery and fought to come back on active duty five years later. Today she is serving as the CO's driver at The Basic School and happy to be in uniform.
