An inert bomb stands on display for the first 4th Fighter Wing Mission Immersion Day in the weapons load barn at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Nov. 7, 2014. Airmen on the tour listened to descriptions of each type of munition the F-15E Strike Eagle is capable of carrying. Mission Immersion Day will soon become a monthly event hosted by each fighter squadron in turn. The day was designed to give Airmen fulfilling support roles across the base a better understanding of how flying operations are conducted and how their efforts make it possible.
