Sailors assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) raised and lowered the national ensign from the NMCSD flag pole, symbolic of the nation which was so faithfully served for another retiring Sailor who had requested it. Later that day, more than 160 Sailors assigned to NMCSD marched during the San Diego Veterans Day Parade to honor the service of all our nation's veterans.
