PFC Justin D. Patzschke, a cavalry scout with the the 1st Infantry Divisions 3rd Brigade Reconnaissance Troop, pulls security during Operation Blue Tiger in As Sadah Oct. 13. The large scale operation led by the 82nd Engineer Battalion, combined elements from the BRT, 16th Georgian Mountain Infantry Battalion and Iraqi Security Forces. It began in the early morning hours with raids of suspected insurgents and followed with a door to door village assessment. Patzschke is from Mishawaka, Indiana.
