Lejuene’s birthday message Nov. 14 during the conclusion of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2014 at Penanjong Garrison. Service members from the RBLF and U.S. Marines concluded the long week of training with a social gathering including a cake-cutting ceremony in celebration of the U.S. Marine Corps’ 239th birthday. The exercise increased interoperability between the nations, while at the same time building personal and professional relationships between the service members. Guerrero is the first sergeant for Company E, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
