Infantry Soldiers from the Polish army’s 21st Mountain Brigade conduct drills to hone their skills for their “guardian angel” or personal security detail mission near TB Gamberi in Afghanistan. The Polish soldiers will conduct security for both U.S. and Polish advisers to the Afghan National Security Forces. In this drill they are simulating the actions that will be taken if someone from their formation gets injured. (U.S. Army photo by Maj. Vance Trenkel, 3rd Cavalry Regiment PAO)(Released)
