Reconnaissance Marines practice breathe holding techniques Nov. 18 during a pre-combatant diver course at Camp Schwab. The Marines swam 25 meters underwater where they tied a rope around a submerged pole and then swam back 25 meters. This technique teaches the Marines how to control themselves and stay calm while completing a task underwater. The Marines are from 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Devon Tindle/Released)
