Dariusz Plociennik with a gift of appreciation to recognize the hard work and friendship between the Savannah-based165th AW and the 33rd Air Transport Base, at a luncheon held outside Powidz Air Base, Poland, November 21, 2014. The Georgia Air National Guard unit is taking part in Operation Atlantic Resolve, an operation where C-130 cargo aircraft units of the U.S. and Poland work together in joint operations, as well as, sending a message of bilateral support to our NATO allies and responding to Russia’s threat to the region.
