Honorable Brad R. Carson, the Under Secretary of the Army, has lunch with Soldiers from the United Nations Command Security Battalion – Joint Security Area, during his visit to the Joint Security Area, Nov. 18, 2014 on Camp Bonifas, South Korea. He freely conversed with Soldiers from the battalion in order to boost morale and acquaint himself with the Soldiers of the JSA. The United Nations Command Security Battalion-Joint Security Area secures the Military Armistice Commission Headquarters Area in order to maintain conditions of the Armistice and protect all United Nations Command personnel, Tae Sung Dong residents, Neutral Nations Supervisory Committee personnel and visitors to Camp Bonifas and the Joint Security Area.
